A virtual assistant to help with the overwhelm of small business

Small business owners often wear so many different hats

So you run a business and you’ve hit that point where you’re wearing too many hats and need some help in a range of tasks that you don’t love doing but are necessary. You know if you don’t you’ll either have to choose business over your family, hobbies and rest or you’ll hit breakdown from the level of overwhelm

A virtual assistant

A virtual assistant is potentially a great next step and having one who understands overwhelm, family balance and wanting your business to succeed.

There’s help out there…..

AncoraVA exists to help overwhelmed women who run small business whilst parenting, managing their own neurodiversity or mental health. The name Ancora is the Latin for anchor but also means

REFUGE SUPPORT HOPE

You see I picked the name because I want to support business owners to hit their goals by taking on a range of jobs that they just don’t have time to do giving you hope that the overwhelm can be lessened.

Hi there, I’m Sarah Beavis.

I’m a wife, mum, business owner, virtual assistant.

I think the name ‘Mummy’ is used way more than Sarah these days. I am a married Mum of 3 (aged 5, 8 and 10) who has spent the past 3.5 years working as a virtual assistant after I left working as an early years practitioner after having my children.

I have experience of both working with, and parenting, people with neurodiversity.

What can I help with?

Since 2020 I have worked in a range of different tools doing a range of different roles. Listed below are some examples but if there’s anything missing that you’d find helpful please do get in touch.

Roles

Customer services for products & service based businesses. Community management. Social media management. Email creation. Blog creation. Topic research. Content creation. Brand developement. Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) research. Product description. Basic video editing. Subscription monitoring.

Tech skills

Very confident: Canva, Google Workspace, Asana, Slack, Facebook, Instagram, Zoom, Shopify basic, Gorgias (Customer Services), AddEvent, Heartbeat.

Confident: Photoshop, Wordpress, ActiveCampaign, Vimeo, Kajabi.

Basic skills: ThriveCart, iMovie, Dubsado, Bubble.io

How much will it cost me?

A lot of virtual assistants do not publish their prices on their sites. Knowing that the people I want to work with are often busy and overwhelmed I want to make the discovery process as simple as possible.

To work with me will cost £30 per hour.

I work with longer term clients more often than short term clients and pay is at the beginning of each month.

Occasionally, I have space for short term project so please do get in touch if you’d like to explore more.
